Content Management Systems

Web Content Management Systems (WCMS or CMS) includes:

  • management of the workflow authoring and publishing process
  • management of web site content
  • management and application of the web presentation layer (consistent presentation, navigation, operation and corporate branding)
  • management of versioning, archival, metadata, audit details, etc, and
  • enforcement of international, government and corporate web standards and compliancy rules.

A good CMS is more than a publishing tool. It has an extensive list of administrator tools, controls, configuration and reports available for managing all aspects from site and personnel workflow performance monitoring, to exception reporting and broken link management.

Enterprise Content Management Systems

ComWeb is integrated with the TRIM Context Suite by TOWER Software and is certified to meet the US Dept Defence 5015.2 Standards for ECMS.
